Kim Completes Her LPN to RN Online With The College Network

www.collegenetwork.com Becoming an RN was Kim’s lifelong dream. She began working in the medical field as a ward clerk and EMT for over ten years before moving on to earn her RN. Even with a newborn child, Kim found a way to attend an on-campus LPN program and earned her certification after many years of work in the field. Kim still was not satisfied with her education — she had always envisioned become an RN and was determined to make her dream a reality. While working as an LPN, she took the occasional class towards her ASN degree at her local college, but she wasn’t progressing as fast as she’d like. Kim researched her online options and discovered The College Network’s online LPN to RN program to be a perfect fit. Grateful to have finally found a degree option that would allow her to continue working and caring for her family, Kim worked full time during the year and a half that it took her to complete her RN degree from home. Kim is now an RN and is able to help her husband support her family. She’d like to thank The College Network for changing her life and making it easy for her to achieve her dream.

www.collegenetwork.com Brandy spent three years in education classes before decided that teaching wasn’t as satisfying as she had hoped. After attending school, Brandy worked as a dialysis technician and gained a great sense of fulfillment helping patients. Soon after, Brandy attended a classroom-based program and earned her LPN license. Brandy knew she wanted to pursue her RN, but as a full-time student, she’d disliked the fact that she was unable to work or care for her step-son. The College Network offered Brandy the freedom and flexibility that she was searching for. The program made it simple for Brandy to test out of the pre-requisite courses and general education requirements that she had already taken. The online Resource Center became a valuable lifeline, and she found that clicking through her lessons helped her learn much more easily than she had using textbooks. She found it helpful to give herself a goal by setting her examination dates ahead of time, and the course materials kept her feeling prepared when the time came. Upon completion of her ASN degree, Brandy plans on pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with The College Network as well. The College Network helps nurses earn their RN without compromising their home or work life.
