Elearning! and Government Elearning! magazines, the industry voices of the enterprise learning and workforce technology market, announced today the Best of Elearning! Awards 2013 honorees. Readers and professionals from both the private and public sector cast 3,862 nominations for the best-in-class solutions across 25 product categories. Winners of each category will be revealed at the Enterprise Learning! Conference & Expo on August 26, 2013, which is co-located with the California HR Conference.
The Best of Elearning! Awards program formalizes the word-of-mouth referrals practiced in our industry. According to our research, 85 percent of professionals have personally recommended a learning solution to a colleague over the past 12 months. And, 61 percent agreed that award recognition impacted their buying decision, cites Catherine Upton, group publisher of the Elearning! Media Group.
This year, the Elearning! Magazine Group received 3,862 nominations. Eighty-five individual products are being recognized for excellence; up from 72 in 2012. Our industry continues to innovate and transform. We responded by adding new categories of Learning Services, HR Technology, Virtual Learning Environments, Translation and Mobile Authoring. We are committed to recognizing innovation and user satisfaction across a diverse group of solution providers, reports Jerry Roche, editorial director of the Elearning! Magazine Group.
The Voting Process
Readers, practitioners and community members nominated and voted for products and solutions via Elearning! Media Groups online ballot. All ballots were cast between March 15 and May 1, 2013. Each ballot was reviewed and validated by the editorial team. All vendor ballots were voided.
All 85 brands will be honored for excellence and the top vote-getter in each category is named the winner. Each of the 85 brands named will receive an award of excellence or winner honors. Given the high volume of votes and the number of nominated products, every one of these solution providers should be proud to be honored for excellence, Upton adds.
New in 2013: Awards Ceremony Hosted with California HR Conference
The Best of Elearning! 2013 Awards ceremony will be conducted at the Enterprise Learning! Conference & Expo on August 26, 2013, at the Anaheim (Calif.) Convention Center. Co-located with the California HR Conference, up to 3,000 attendees from HR, talent, learning and development can attend the Best of Elearning! Awards and Best of Elearning! sessions.
